Daredevil: Lots of Good News About Season 3

Charlie Cox Daredevil Instabamm

Daredevil is coming to Netflix sooner than expected, and star Charlie Cox promises some serious action.

Daredevil is alive and well, but he’s exceptionally peeved. Anyone who has been hungrily scouring the internet for info on the heavily anticipated season 3 of the Netflix/Marvel venture has seen the most recent teaser of a very ‘dark’ Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), basically heralding the doom of all the bad guys in Hell’s Kitchen…

Are you excited yet? You should be.

But wait, there’s more…

Daredevil’s season 3 premiere date might be LOTS earlier than was originally scheduled.

A tweet from Netflix Thailand featuring the Daredevil scene shown in the finishing credits of the Iron Fist season 2 finale, when translated, displays a statement that the series will now premiere on Friday the 19th of October.

This is only a month away, and Daredevil was originally scheduled to be an early 2019 release. If there is any accuracy to this information, it’s going to set the nerd world alight! Undoubtedly 2018 has been a GOOD year for Marvel fans, but now it’s much better.

Also, English actor Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), who is also starring in the upcoming movie King of Thieves, was recently interviewed by Yahoo Movies UK. Excitingly, he has given away that the new series of Daredevil will pay homage to one of its most iconic scenes; the amazing ‘corridor’ fight.

“The one thing that I am excited about is that we do have a scene in the show that is an homage to the corridor scene from series one. I’m very excited about the fans to see that,” Cox said.

If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out, then keep reading…

As of yet there has been very little given away about the actual plot of Daredevil season 3. All we know is that Matt Murdock has taken on another, much darker, demeanor altogether (as discussed earlier), and also that Vincent D’Onofrio is returning as evil crimelord Wilson Fisk.

Looks like we don’t have long to wait for real answers though, so it’s good to go into this new season blind (no pun intended). Seriously Netflix, I don’t care what’s happening, just take my subscription money, and take it NOW!!

Are you excited about the new installment of Daredevil? What do you think of the most recent Netflix/Marvel ventures?

Full Daredevil season 3 recap and review will be coming your way very soon.
