The Clovehitch Killer
The story follows an average teenage boy Tyler Burnside (Charlie Plummer), a boy scout, church volunteer and a dutiful son to an upstanding, community leader father, Don (Dylan McDermott). He discovers photographs among his father’s things that lead him to believe that he may be the serial killer called Clove hitch, that terrorized the small quiet town in Kentucky almost ten years prior where ten women were tortured and brutally murdered. Tyler struggles to accept that his father may be the serial killer and could still be killing people. The film also stars Samantha Mathis and Madison Beaty and will open in theatres and VOD on 16th November 2018.
This high action thriller by Karyn Kusama stars Nicole Kidman as Erin Bell, a woman who is confronted by her past when the leader of a gang she had previously been placed undercover reemerges. The tragic events of her time with the California desert gang lead to the gang leader coming after her, throwing her back into the lives of the other gang members and her relationship with them. The film stars Sebastian Stan (MCU), Toby Kebbell (Kong Skull Island), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Bradley Whitford (West Wing) among others. The film airs in American Cinemas on 25th December 2018.
The Kid Who Would Be King
This film connects the old classic story of the heroes of Camelot with the modern world. A young boy, Alex (Louis Serkis) pulls out the magical sword in the stone, Excalibur and must unite the students in his school, enemy or fiend into knights so that they can defeat the evil that threatens their way of life. With the help of the legendary wizard, Merlin (Patrick Stewart) the heroes take on the evil witch Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson). Alex must overcome his everyday problems and shortcomings to become the leader everyone admires. Also starring are Dean Chaumoo, Tom Taylor, Rhianna Doris, and Angus Imrie. The film opens in cinemas on 15th February 2018.
This horror thriller film follows the story of three daring teenagers who plan a heist to pay off an outstanding debt. The three disguise themselves as waiters at a mansion in Malibu for a party thrown for the social elite by a serial killer cult, unbeknownst to the trio. They soon figure out who the dinner guests are and that leaving the house alive just became a challenge. The stars include Erin Moriarty, Kian Lawley, Robin Tunney, Virginia Gardner, Brandon Micheal Hall, Bill Engvall with Julian McMahon and Lance Reddick. The films will show in theatres, VOD and Digital on 2nd November 2018.
The Curse of La Llorona
The story follows a social worker and her two children as they are drawn into a supernatural realm after ignoring the warning of a woman who was accused of endangering her child possibly from the treat of La Llorona (the weeping woman) who preys on children to replace her own that she drowned when she was alive. The social worker and her children’s only hope is an enthusiastic priest whose beliefs and paranoia help stop evil from destroying them. The film’s producers are Gary Dauberman(IT and Annabelle) and James Wan(The Conjuring). The film stars Linda Cardellini (Avengers: Age of Ultron,), Raymond Cruz (Major Crimes), Patricia Velasquez (The L Word), and Marisol Ramirez (NCIS: Los Angeles). The film airs on 19th April 2019.
The story follows six strangers brought together mysteriously to take part in an escape room. They soon realize that their selection wasn’t random and that the creators of the room targeted them and designed the different aspects of the game specifically for them. They also realize that they must play to survive. They must use their skills and overcome the psychological baggage that is holding them back so that they make it out alive. The film stars Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Jay Ellis, Tyler Labine, Nik Dodani and Yorick van Wageningen. The film opens in theatres on 4th January 2019.
The horror film shows the lengths a mother would go to help her son after she suspects that something supernatural is afflicting him. Sarah (Taylor Schilling) notices that her son Miles (Jackson Robert Scott) has changed and she is determined to get to the bottom of what is causing his turn, all to protect her family. With the help of a psychiatrist (Colm Feore) they look at her past and what could be tormenting the young boy. The film premiers on 8th February 2019.
The funny story follows a young woman, Tanya (Tiffany Haddish) who has recently been released from prison and looks to her sister Danica (Tika Sumpter) to help her get back on her feet. She soon realizes that Danica’s online relationship is nothing but a catfishing scam. Tanya helps her sister get back out there with her snarky comments and goofy antics to get her to ditch her uptight persona. The film stars Omari Hardwick(Power), Mehcad Brooks, Amber Riley, and Whoopi Goldberg. The film premiers on 2nd November 2018.
