Lots of good stuff coming to Hollywood cinemas, and soon. The new movie trailers this week are LOTS more exciting than last week, and things are really starting to hit RED HOT. Let’s strap in and enjoy.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle

A Netflix film by actor and director Andy Serkis, based on the classic by Rudyard Kipling, tells the story of a young boy who struggles with his identity and destiny. Mowgli lives in the jungle with wild animals and his wolfpack as a family, but he is also human and is attracted to the village and the ways of man. Will he be able to take care of the animals in times of need when the need arises? How will he navigate the dangers that lie ahead from both the jungle and the village? The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Christian Bale, Tom Hollander, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis, Peter Mulan, Naomie Harris, Matthew Rhys, Frieda Pinto, Jack Reynor, Eddie Marsan, Rohan Chand among others.

The film premiers on 7th December 2018 only on Netflix.

American Renegades

The film tells the sort-of true story of a team of Navy SEALs who try to find long-lost Nazi gold at the bottom in a lake during the Bosnian War in the 90s. The eclectic cast includes J.K. Simmons, as well as Sullivan Stapleton, Ewen Bremner, Sylvia Hoeks, Diarmaid Murtagh, Charlie Bewley, Clemens Schick, and Dimitri Leonidas. They’re totally overselling these Hollywood cinema new movie trailers with all the big action, guns, tanks, and wise-cracking American patriotism from these elite SEALs. Whatever works.

Available in cinemas December 21st, 2018.

The Secret Life of Pets 2

The film and all the secret life of pets new movie trailers narrate the story of a group of domesticated animals and the trouble they get into when their owners are away at work. Written by Brian Lynch, directed by Chris Renaud, this animated sequel will feature Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime Hollywood cinema collaborator Janet Healy as producers.

The cast includes Patton Oswalt, Eric Stonestreet, Ellie Kemper, Kevin Hart, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Kylie Hart, Nick Kroll, Garth Jennings, and Pete Holmes. The film premiers in cinemas on 7th June 2019.

The Informer

Joel Kinnaman is an ex-convict turned FBI informant who goes back to prison to infiltrate the mob in The Informer trailer. The Killing, RoboCop, and Suicide Squad actor is joined in the film’s cast by Rosamund Pike, Clive Owen, Common, and Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049). 

An Americanized film adaptation of Börge Hellström and Anders Roslund’s 2009 Swedish crime-thriller novel Three Seconds, The Informer was directed by Andrea Di Stefano (Escobar: Paradise Lost) and written for the screen by prolific Hollywood cinema vet Matt Cook (Triple 9, Patriots Day).

Release Date: 22nd March 2019


The film has one of the best new movie trailers of the week, and is a psychological techno-thriller tells the eerie story of Alice, a twenty-something-year-old who loves the internet only to wake up one day to realize that there is her replica posing as her on her webcam porn show. The replica gains a persona that seeks to be independent of Alice and the men in her life while Alice tries to get her life back despite being fascinated by the person who has taken her place. Starring Madeline Brewer (Handmaid’s Tale), Patch Darragh, Melora Walters, Devin Druid, Imani Hakim, Michael Dempsey, Flora Diaz, Samantha Robinson, Jessica Parker Kenned.

The film will be on Disc and Streaming on 16th November 2018.

Ugly Dolls

This animated adventure film focuses on a favorite toy brand. The residence of an adorably different town of Uglyville is fine just the way they are, flaws and all. They, however, meet people that think that they are not perfect and Moxy and her Uglydoll friends must learn that they can be themselves and be just as good as anyone else. This animated Hollywood cinema cast includes Kelly Clarkson, Janelle Monae, Wanda Sykes, Emma Roberts, Gabriel Iglesias, Wang Leehom, Nick Jonas, Bebe Rexha, Charlie XCX, Lizzo, and Pitbull.

The film premiers in cinemas on 10th May 2019.

Captive State

The film is set in a Chicago neighborhood ten years after an extra-terrestrial force took control of the planet. The story focuses on the lives of the people that embraced the visitors and see the improvements that have come about from accepting the new era and that of the rebels who value their freedom and see it fit to take back the power that humans on wielded. Starring John Goodman, Vera Farmiga, Ashton Sanders, Jonathan Majors, Alan Ruck, Kevin Dunn, David J Height, Machine Gun Kelly, Madeline Brewer, Ben Daniels, D. B. Sweeney, Kevin J. O’Connor, KiKi Layne, Marc Grapey, James Ransone and Rene’ L. Moreno.

The release date is 29th March 2019.

Toy Story 4

Everyone’s favorite western toy sheriff is back, and his love and devotion to his human children haven’t wavered. His view in life may change as Bonnie, Andy’s younger sister gets a new problematic toy, “Forky” to her room. An adventure lies before the new and old comrades who must rely on each other despite the hardships that lie ahead. Starring Tom Hanks, Annie Potts, Patricia Arquette, Michael Keaton, Joan Cusack, Kristen Schaal, Tim Allen among others.

The film ventures to US cinemas on 21st June 2019.


Dumplin’ is an account of Willowdean (Danielle Macdonald), an outspoken plus size teenage girl known as Will for short and Dumplin’ to her mother (Jennifer Aniston), a former pageant winner who is now in charge of the local Miss Teen Blue Bonnet pageant. She is confident and is not put down by people’s perceptions or comments about her, and when she decides to enter one of her mothers pageants in protest, she ends up inspiring her fellow competitors to be bold too and the town as a whole to redefine their standards of what is tradition and what is not. Others starring in the film, and one of the best new movie trailers of the week include Odeya Rush, Dove Cameron, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Luke Benward, Harold Perrineau.

The film will be in cinemas on 7th December 2018.


MacDonald suffers from amnesia after a bank heist gone wrong and is committed to a prison psych ward. During his seventh-year evaluation, an inmate and a ward doctor convince him to escape and have them inject him with a serum that forces him to remember the past. He sets out to find the money that he had stolen but must be careful not to be nabbed by a toughened FBI agent or succumb to the drugs terrible side effects. The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Ryan Guzman, Matthew Modine, Meadow Williams, and Christopher McDonald – and we can’t say it’s one of the best new movie trailers of the week, but we’ll give this Hollywood cinema addition a shot when it’s released.

This film will be in cinemas and On Demand 14th December 2018.
